Welcome to Guruji Chair (gurujichair.in), a brand operated by Shalvika Living Innovations. By accessing or using our website, browsing our products, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you must not use our website or services.

2. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However:

• Colours may vary slightly due to monitor/screen settings and the natural variation in wood grain
• Each product is handcrafted, so minor variations in carving detail, wood grain, and finish are natural and add to the uniqueness of your chair
• Dimensions mentioned are approximate and may vary by ±1 inch due to the handmade nature of our products
• We reserve the right to modify product specifications, pricing, or availability without prior notice

3. Orders & Pricing

Placing an Order

• All orders are subject to acceptance and availability
• An order confirmation does not guarantee that the product is available; we will notify you if an item is out of stock
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, or pricing errors

Pricing

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated
• Prices are inclusive of applicable GST
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice
• Promotional offers and discounts are valid for the specified period only and cannot be combined with other offers

4. Payment Terms

We accept the following payment methods:

• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
• Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay)
• Net Banking
• Bank Transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS)
• Cash on Delivery (for select locations)
• EMI options (subject to eligibility)

5. Custom Orders

We welcome custom orders for personalized chairs with specific carvings, dimensions, finishes, or designs:

• Custom orders require a 50% advance payment before work begins
• Remaining 50% is payable before dispatch
• Custom orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once production has commenced
• Production timeline for custom orders is typically 15–25 working days
• Design approval will be sought via WhatsApp/email before carving begins

6. Cancellation Policy

• Before production: Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund
• During production: Since each chair is handcrafted to order, cancellations after production has started may incur a 25% restocking fee
• After dispatch: Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped. Please refer to our Return Policy

7. Returns & Refunds

Return Policy

• We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery
• The product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging
• Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless the product is defective or damaged during transit
• Custom-made products are not eligible for returns unless they have a manufacturing defect

Refund Process

• Refunds are initiated within 7 working days of receiving the returned product
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method
• Bank processing may take an additional 5–10 business days

8. Warranty

All Guruji Chair products come with a 10-year structural warranty covering:

• Structural defects in joints and frame
• Wood cracking or splitting due to manufacturing defects
• Peeling or flaking of finish (within normal use conditions)

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper handling
• Exposure to extreme moisture, sunlight, or outdoor conditions
• Unauthorised modifications or repairs
• Natural ageing and colour changes in wood (this is expected and desired)

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, designs, graphics, and product descriptions — is the intellectual property of Shalvika Living Innovations and is protected under Indian copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.

10. User Conduct

By using our website, you agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders
• Collect or harvest personal information of other users
• Upload malicious code or interfere with website functionality

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guruji Chair / Shalvika Living Innovations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product in question.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rajasthan, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
